does this organization lend money in the Chicago land area? I'm interested in rehabbing buildings in chicago.

First off, BiggerPockets isn't really an organization -- we're just a bunch of people involved in real estate in a number of different ways from all over the world who use this forum to share knowledge with each other. You might find someone from Chicago on here, but BiggerPockets itself doesn't lend anything since it's just a website.

You'll probably have better luck looking at your local real estate groups than here, most likely. You could search for people on here who are in the Chicago area by going to http://www.biggerpockets.com/meet and then contacting people from that list who are investors, but I'm guessing you'd have a better shot at finding investors at a meeting in-person.

Best of luck!
