Real Estate License Courses in Cincinnati
I'm living in Cincinnati and looking to get my real estate license. What schools offer courses to get my license and is there an online option for Ohio? I'm also interested in getting licensed in Kentucky since it's right across the river. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Hey Kyle, I've been looking into this as well so I'll share what I've found out so far. I can't guarantee the accuracy of everything I say, but it's as accurate as far as I understand.
Ohio requires "in classroom" courses, while Kentucky lets you take them online. Because of that, Kentucky courses seem to be much cheaper than Ohio. However, if you get your KY license, OH will not recognize it so you'll have to retake the course in OH. KY on the other hand will recognize your OH license, so all you'll need to do is take the KY law portion of the exam to get your KY license as well. So if you really want both, get your OH first. That said, I believe you'll hang your license with a broker in each state so you'll be paying double the fees every year. Not positive on this, but I think it's the case.
The 2 options I looked into for OH schools were Cincinnati State and Hondros College (in West Chester). I think Hondros was cheaper.

Good luck, and let me know what you end up deciding to do.
