Do I Make Copies Of Option To Purchase Contracts?

I have 3 questions that may sound like silly questions and obvious, but I'll ask anyway because I honestly don't know. If I do an option to purchase contract, do I give a copy to the seller? Do I do the same for an investor if I assign the contract to him? Lastly, if a seller agrees to do an option to purchase contract, is it the seller I give the $10 deposit to?
