WHERE Is The Smart Money Going Next?

We all know smart money moves with the markets. Whether it be stock market sectors, commodities, or real estate, the smart guys have vision and seize opportunities before the crowds arrive. In SW Florida, ground zero for foreclosures (we made the NY Times) was Cape Coral and the SW Florida market. I saw properties that sold for 229K in 2005 and 2006 sell for under 90K in the meltdown. Some hedge funds came in early and bought tons of properties for pennies on the dollar. They are gone now. They may be holding properties, but their buying operations have shut down in this area. My question is: where is the smart money moving today or are they sitting on the sidelines waiting for better opportunities that have not been presented yet?
