Forgetful management company? Should I leave?

I consider true passive income as being able to move to Florida and speak to my manager occasionally. This is certainly not the case with me.

I'm constantly having to remind my manager of things. I don't want to hover and keep bugging them, so I wait a few days and they've completely forgotten.

I just called them a few minutes ago. There is no deposit for one of my tenants. It's already the 20th. He seemed unaware of any issue and was going to check on it. Should an owner have to do that? Keep track of everything? That's hardly passive.
