investment home or primary home???

Currently in a townhome "busting at the seams". Ready to buy my first home, However I am also ready to buy a few investment properties. I am wondering when I am ready to buy my primary residence, will it hurt me that I may have 3 mortgages on investment properties???

All thoughts, suggestions, comments truly appreciated.
