Lease question...
Here is the situation. Found a GREAT house that will cash flow day 1. A renter has been secured. Because of the timing of the issue, however, the seller is signing his lease with the tenant and I'll probably close on the house about 2 weeks after she signs this lease with him.
He won't let me see a copy of the lease...not even a blank copy of the lease...until closing, assuming I go through with the deal. He "doesn't like to show people copies of it". So I would be buying a house with a tenant who is bound to a lease that I won't see until the ink is dry...
Not sure I like this. Suggestions? Thoughts? Am I being paranoid? Thanks!
