Hard Money in Western NY

Hello Bp, This is my first post,Can anyone in the Buffalo NY area tell me if they have any experince dealing with hard money lenders? I am in contract with a property which I will be using all my own funds for purchase and rehab and I will still be looking for others but I would like to know the hard money process before I need them. If no Buffalo NY people can anyone who uses them help me out?
