partnership gone bad- picking up the pieces - need advice

Hello all.

For the last several months I had been working with/for a successful real estate investor in my city. Our arrangement was simple- I would do tasks for him to bring in leads using his contact information. In return, he would teach me the business and I would get 30% deal that came from leads I generated.

I did my part. One task I did was writing yellow letters to any home owners in a neighboring county who had been issued major code violations. Apparently the response rate was pretty good.

Problem: My "mentor" took the calls, but did no follow-up- stating he was too busy. I found out about this almost a month after the calls started coming in. I have no idea how many potential leads were squandered due to his negligence.

While I am no longer affiliated with this investor, I do not want to "move on" from these potential leads/deals. Does any one have any recommendations on any follow-up I can do with this code violations list? I won't be able to pull any information from the guy I worked with as to who actually responded to the initial marketing effort.

Thank you for any help/suggestions!
