Hi all! My partner and I are looking to get our next rental (currently have one in a more local market that has a property manager).  After some research I'm we've narrowed it down to the OKC and Birmingham markets. Since this will be our first long distance investment it feels like we're starting brand new and would love advice for first time long distance investors. Also would love your opinions on those two markets (pros and cons etc). Thank you in advance! :)

@Luke Fruge you are in the right place to get started for sure! OKC and Birmingham markets both offer some great opportunities and good entry prices for new investors. What are your goals for holding investments in these markets? Are you looking for 7-10 years or maybe longer?

One thing to remember is that even within a specific market there can be subtle differences in areas. The same goes for PMs and companies selling properties. You will want to do your due diligence in all of these areas and understand what those differences are.

If you have any questions I am happy to help answer on-line or off-line, don't hesitate to reach out.
