Build a rental?
I haven’t done my first deal yet, but through hiring a local contractor to build my personal residence I had this idea that I don’t hear people talking about. Upon closing my single family construction my home had about 25% in equity on day one(in 2018 in Tennessee). In 2025 does it make sense to build a 4plex and house hack it or is it better to buy existing multi-family? Can you still close with equity on day one?
