New to the community and real estate investing and having trouble estimating expenses

Posted

Hello everybody, I am new to this community and to real estate investing. I am looking for rental properties in Tampa, FL, and I am having trouble estimating expenses when analyzing deals.

What is the best way to estimate the insurance expense for a property? I cannot get a quote for every single listing I come by. Also, how can I estimate the taxes? Finally, how can I estimate the costs for repairs? I don't know any contractors yet, and even if I knew, I wouldn't be able to ask them for a quote for every single listing I analyze.

I am very new to this community and I am very eager to learn as much as possible. I would love to connect with anybody in the area.
