How to find home owner/squatter issue

I have a vacant house a couple doors down from my personal home, in Texas. It has squatters in it.  The police have removed them twice so far but they just come back. The city sent notices to the address on the tax records, which is a property mgmnt co. I've called the prop mgr but always get vm, and he never calls me back. The prior prop mgr told me the owner lives in Japan. I found a guy with same name on FB, but no response. The code enforcer says hes never heard of our town confiscating properties. They only put liens for the money they pay for boarding it up and mowing. Does anyone have an idea on what I can do? I can't even reach the owner to see if he'll sell it to me. It's reducing our prop value and dangerous with the squatters. We have 2 school bus stops right next to it.

    I'd keep contacting the Code Enforcement Office (based on the squeaky wheel gets the grease theory). Also get as many neighbors as possible to call.

    I've been through a similar situation and found that you must get the City's attention by appealing to what they find what be a liability issue, something that would end up on the news and make them look bad. 'Danger to our children', 'Fire Hazard', 'I think they're cooking meth', 'I'm not sure but I think i saw weapons'. Anything. This is no time to play the nice guy.....

    You can also contact your City Council Person and your County Supervisor. They have a lot of power and will often get involved. Go to a City Council meeting. Call the local News stations. Get this ALL over Social Media.
