Investing in Section 8 Detroit area
Hi, I am looking to invest in Detroit. I am new to this market and would like some recommendations for agents that work with out of state investors. I am focus on section 8 rentals. Also any investor friendly PM? Any advise is also appreciated.

S8 is a TOOL, not a guaranteed solution!
We manage almost 700 doors in Metro Detroit market, 92 are S8, so we are very familiar with the program.
We've got some great S8 tenants, but also some not-so-great ones that abuse the program.

Hey Sergio, I've been investing in Detroit since 2019. My focus was doing off-market BRRRR's and I've built a portfolio of 12-doors. Next month I'm closing on a new duplex.
3 of my 12-doors are S8 tenants. There are pros and cons and it's important to be aware of the drawbacks as well as the benefits.

Hi Michael, luckily I did not sign to any guru course on Section 8. I have 3 rentals on 2 different states. Two of them I tried to place them on Section 8, but they get rented before that happened. I see Detroit as a possibility to keep investing. I would like to know more about the neighborhoods. Which one are desire and which ones to avoid.
I do watch James Wise videos. Yes, Section 8 can be a gamble.
