Should I add a laundry room to a multi-unit

I have an apartment in a multiunit that was never finished.  it would really become an awkward apartment if I tried to finish it.  Its centrally located to the other units, and it would be the perfect size for an laundry area.

My questions:

1. Are pay for laundry units worth operating?
2. What considerations should I have if I add this?  New plumbing?

3. What am I not thinking of?  None of my other units have pay for laundry, so this is a new thing for me.

If you can increase an additional $200-250/unit that might be something to consider. However, you would need to consider the cost of installing a new in unit washer dryer set. Would you need to add/extend plumbing lines / change the electrical panel for the dryer voltage.
