Real estate law question
This is a strange question. We are trying to purchase our neighbors house. It is currently off market, but the out of state owner is willing to sell. He is currently renting to a family, but the wife now has a protection order against the husband. The husband is now trying to buy the house with his wife and kids still living there. They are not divorced yet, but I was wondering the legalities surrounding the protection order. Does he have a leg to stand on? Hope this makes sense. Thanks in advance.
