Tax implication with Quitclaim deed
We (3 siblings) bought a home for a little over $1M just before covid, now it's appreciated to $1.4M - $1.5M.
All 3 names are on home title. 2 siblings want to sell, one of the sibling is financially capable of buying out the other 2 siblings.
The only concern if doing quitclaim will trigger home reassessment, that will push property tax higher.
Comments and suggestions are welcome.
