To recast mortgages or not

I have multiple investment properties with mortgages.  I have some cash coming my way soon and trying to determine if I should use some of the cash to recast some of my mortgages to increase cash flow or not.  Are there any good formulas for helping with this?  I’m happy to share specifics on the properties if that helps.
