Buying property with marital status change

Hey all!

I just proposed to my girlfriend and we were hoping to start 2024 with a bang! We both were hoping to buy property as single people, owner occupied but we’re wondering what happens later this year when we’re married? Under the rules of owner occupied, we need to live in them for a year? but can we move in with each other after we’re married and convert the other to a rental? Is there an exception?
