Kitchen Remodel! What cabinets, countertops, flooring, color, etc?

Hey guys,

I am about renovate my current home in preparation to start renting it out, once I purchase a new home. What kind of cabinets are you using in your rental properties, and what color are you painting them? What kind of countertops are best? And lastly, what kind of flooring are you installing in your kitchens?

Home Depot cabinets, the kind stock in the store look pretty nice. And do not cost a ton of money- especially if you know how to put them in yourself.

They have some that you can self finish if that's your thing.

Regarding flooring. I think it looks nice when the bathrooms and the kitchen have the same flooring. 

Countertops in a class B, Will the rent suffer, or will there be added time on market if you go with a standard in stock pattern Formica versus stone.

To figure this out you might want to look at a few of your close in competitors and see what they're asking for the rent as if you get an idea of how long they've been on market. 

Here are some unfished cabinets from Home Depots website with an upgraded countertop (Formica/stone???). This to me looks pretty.
