CA License Question

John Beck
Posted

Good Morning Everyone,

I live and work in CA and am currently enrolled in Real Estate courses through CA Realty Training. My primary reason for pursuing a license is access to the MLS as well as the opportunity to learn & network. That said, to start, I am going to be investing in Cleveland, OH area, an area I'm very familiar with. I'm not really sure there is a benefit to getting my license in CA since there is no reciprocity with OH. What are your thoughts?

Ps. I did see eXp brokerage recently launched "eXp exclusives" allowing agents to share off-market and pre-market listings as well as all eXp MLS listings. Does anyone have experience with eXp? Would I be able to search Cleveland MLS properties if I'm registered with eXp as a CA agent?

Thanks,

John B.
