Ideal Countys For Wholesaling

Hi everyone, I am a wholesaler from Ontario, Canada and am looking to do business in Michigan. I am unfamiliar with the state and am looking for recommended countys. I know Wayne county is good because of Detroit. But I'm looking for potential countys closer to the Canadian Border. Any recommendations? Thanks!
