I have a rental condo in houston. Just got the new coupon book for monthly hoa begging jan 1. Dues went up 45%!!  Due to insurance cost, inflation, and other items. This is such a backbreaker as I will barely squeeze any positive cashflow a month. Any repair request would just kill it. Any other landlords in the city expecting the same outrageous increase? I really hope my current tenant takes me up on suggestion to buy it from me soon.

@Gustavo Delgado

If you are in Texas or Florida right now expect significant increases in florida

While everyone has been celebrating home price increases, everything else has gone up significantly as well - and with labor and construction cost increases insurance is replacement value and they anticipate greater storms so it was inevitable.
