Mortgage rates should drop below 7% as housing demand picks up!

We have already seen 4 positive weeks on purchase apps with rates above 7%

Mortgage rates almost fell below 7%, the 10-year yield is below 4.25% again, and people are seriously talking about Fed rate cuts in 2024.

DSCR space is moving in the right direction, but with caution. There's been a few market fake outs in the last 6 months. This time around, however, the FED is giving optimism and it's not just the market itself.

Most of my DSCR lenders have gone from 8.5% to 8% on average in about 4 weeks. Some are around 7.8% for top tier borrowers.

I'm not expecting 5's in the DSCR space, but if we can touch 6's, I'll go from $2-3M/month to $5M.

Bring on those 6's!
