Hello everyone,

I was wondering if you guys have any info/experience about living with tenants and how to screen them among other things.

I heard about initially having a short lease to kind of feel out tenants (specifically if you live with them) but I was wondering if any of you have any other systems you use or things not to do.

Thanks!

This is living with roommates. Did you live in a dorm? Think about all the things that happen.

Some words from your roommate tenants mouths:

"I don't buy toilet paper I only use one square because I'm studying public health."

"That's not pet monkey poop on the sofa."

"I never used the kitchen so I don't clean up garbage."

Go look at the inside of their cars, vet the job, check the credit, ask other prior roommates. Locks on your door. Don't have dishes that you care about being broken. Hire a maid service.
