Need Help Structuring Possible Partnership Deal
I am seeking wisdom on how to structure a partnership deal with a family member who will loan me $50k on a $500k deal. It would seem natural to offer them 10% of the deal on the STR. However, they won't assume any debt, only lend the $50k. What would be some options that I could offer that would make sense to them and not have me give away the farm on the deal nor insult their intelligence? All my prior deals with others have been 50-50 on money injected and liabilities assumed.
