Using Seller RE Agent as my (buyer’s) agent

Fuad E.
Posted

We have been searching for a SFH for a while now. My question is what is the utility of having a RE agent representing me as the buyer? I've found that using the seller's agent is more appealing to that agent and can thus help us get the offer versus if we had our own agent. Understandably, the selling agent has a big COI that can hurt the buyer if they're not informed. But assuming we're well informed and do our due diligence, what are your thoughts on the above strategy? Thanks much!
