DO I need multiple LLC's?

Hello All

I am a real estate agent in Atlanta. I have an LLC for my real estate business so when I make transactions, my commissions are deposited in my LLC instead of my personal account. Recently I have decided to invest in real estate and was considering creating another LLC just for all my investing needs. Is this necessary, or is it best to just operate thru one LLC? Does it even matter? Thank you!
