Tapping into foreign investors looking for long term holds in US

Coming from the institutional SFR space, pencils are still down (for the most part). The few areas I've seen some continued activity are institutional funds that are related to foreign LPs (i.e.sovereign wealth funds). Which still makes sense given there are still solid reasons for international investors to place money into USD backed assets.

Taking a step down to small & mid-size investors, has anyone had any luck in targeting foreign high-net worth investors? If so, any tips willing to share.
