Do I have to make repairs on a home I sell As-Is

I live in Mississsippi. I am selling a rental to my PM. On July 5th, we both signed the purchase agreement for the PM to buy the rental As-Is. On July 6th, I was asked to make repairs on the house. Am I legally responsible for items that come up after the As-is agreement is signed by both parties?

@Sean Laird As Is simply means you are not offering In Advance to make any repairs necessary to qualify for any particular financing……nothing else. It does Not mean the buyer can Not ask for/negotiate repairs or credit for repairs during their inspection period. You can 1)agree 2) reject 3) negotiate a lower amount.

FYI contracts that were Not As Is used to be quite common in the past mostly for FHA buyers since FHA has stricter property condition requirements. There used to be choices in this clause…."seller will make All necessary FHA/VA repairs required" or "seller agrees to make Up To $XXXX to meet FHA/VA requirements".
