What is the “Starter Pack” for Residential Assisted Living Facilities in Florida???

Hello all! I am a multifamily real estate investor, and property management operator in KY. Recently my wife and I have been really interested in the income capabilities of Residential Assisted Living facilities and are really considering trying to find/acquire one in Florida, with intent on relocating to West Central Florida. What license requirements are their to own and operate an RAL in Florida? Are we better off looking for smaller RAL’s (8 beds or less), or taking the dive and looking for larger Assisted Living facilities? Can you realistically operate RAL’s semi absentee? Am I better off purchasing a pre-existing operation or purchasing real estate to start one from scratch?

Thanks for any and all advice/recommendations!
