Buying out LLC members

Lauren Beech
Posted

Hi yall!

Quick question this evening! I have a LLC with two business partners (married friends of mine). We were planning on going into business together so we created this LLC to do so, but then of course life happened and now they are pregnant and need to place a hold on real estate investing whereas I am still getting started! I want to buy out their share of the business and they are in full agreeance with it. I am 50% owner, Levi is 25% along with Brittany who is 25%. No business was done with this LLC, all we did was each place $1000 into a business bank account. We have already written up a very basic purchase agreement but now I have no idea what is next? Can anyone share some advice on my next steps in this process to become sole owner? Thanks in advance!
