Preparing for an Appraisal
I currently waiting to be approved for a HELOC.
Any tips on what could be done in preparation for an appraisal of my home?

Make sure it is in top shape. You could leave comparables in the house for the appraiser’s reference, but it will likely not sway the outcome. The appraiser is going to look at condition, square footage, and bed/bath to determine its value.
