Selling a pre-construction contract, what are our options?

Hello,

My wife and I signed a contract for a new construction 3/2 SFH in Ocala, FL a year ago and put down 20% cash (45k).

The way the rates have gone, along with some other unforeseen expenses we are more than likely staring at negative cashflow.

They're about to go vertical here in the next few weeks, but due to the dilemma we're finding ourselves in we are thinking about unloading it now.

Who in these forums has any experience with this kind of situation, or knows somebody who could tell us what our options are?
