Buy and hold investors, how are rising interest rates affecting you?

I've had more success buying properties recently (three in Nov/Dec). I think it's a combination of me lowering my yield requirements and less competition in the marketplace.

While far from scientific, I'm wondering if there's anecdotal evidence out there that supports investors are stepping back as a result of higher mortgage rates.
