Architect for Egress Windows

Hi BP, 

any architects in Illinois familiar with egress Windows installs? I’ve pasted a picture of a Richton park single family home below. 

i believe I’ll need to work with the city and cut the foundation. Window is currently about 6 feet above the slab

@Connor O'Brien it is a fun job. You have to cut the foundation, run a drain (potentially connect it inside or potentially run into the yard), install the window, flash and seal, place gravel and more. We had to do one on a Berwyn listing I had about two years ago to get it through FHA. Fun times.

Why do you need an architect? Is the city calling for it? Most of the time, you just need a solid window vendor to pull this one off.
