Multi Fam or SFR out of State

Hello, I’m a mortgage broker and investor in CA. I have done some research on moving some cash out of CA and into markets like Memphis, Little Rock and other places where you can still afford rentals and get a decent return.

I’ve talked with a few agents that I was referred to and Turnkey. A friend of mine said that the landlord laws in TN were not as ideal as I hoped, and before I take the next step i was wondering if

anyone has experience doing this?

Hi Chris! Nice to meet you here on the forums. I've been an investor for 10 years, and an agent in California as well. I started investing in Florida, and then moved to Indiana. One of the things I loved about Indiana was that the laws were very good for landlords. Not so much the tenants. I'm happy to talk more about it if you'd like to connect. Thank you!
