Tax deed question in California

Hi, I’ve been heavily researching tax deed sales in my county. When I go to the tax assessors website and search for the parcel number, only deeds in quitclaims show up. But when I re-search the owner, then notices deeds, liens, and judgments show up. So when I look up the parcel number, why doesn’t the liens and notices etc. show up? is it because it isn’t attached to that property? Is it attached to other properties that the owner has? Thank you
