How to Hire an Asset Manager

Hi BiggerPockets Community
I have been able to grow my portfolio to around 100 units including apartaments, houses and mobile homes. I have 2 property manager because I invest in two different cities in North Georgia. I have a team for maintenance, that I oversee. Usually my managers send me the maintenance request and I send it to my crew. Up to now, my team consists of my wife, my maintenance crew and my 2 property managers. I hired an accountant that handles most of my bookkeeping.

At this point I would like hire an assistant and thought maybe an asset manager would be the next position to hire. I need to offload some of the work so I can focus more on acquisition and other tasks that I enjoy doing.

Also, what do you look for when hiring for this position. If you think I need to hire another type of assistant, please let me know. Thanks in advance!
