Building new houses to rent out?
I am a GC and have been building new spec houses. I have a number of older SFH I currently rent out. I am thinking of keeping some of my new 3 bed / 2 bath new spec houses to rent out as a long term investment. Have any of you done that and if so did you feel it was a good idea? My build cost is around $240k and am thinking rents would be around $1,800 a month. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!
