Own our home and looking to move
Wife and I own our home in MD and are looking to move to a nicer coastal area fairly close by. Our home could likely sell in the 500k range and we would upgrade to a home in a nicer area in the 700k range.
We could rent our home, although it’s not a good rental. It’s very nice with lots of upgrades, large in ground pool area with separate pool house.
We could sell and possibly owner finance, using that payment to pay for our new mortgage and possibly an additional rental property.
Sell conventionally and roll equity into the new home for a small payment.
We’re also in a good debt place with considerable savings, maybe $200k for a down payment.
Thanks and Any opinions would be greatly appreciated !
