Killer Relationship Growing Strategy!
Good mornin’ BP!
I wanted to share something that has worked out exceptionally well for me in the past, in the present, and a habit I will continue doing daily for a long time. Especially in the real estate investing space in particular, networking is a main contributor to your success and a driving factor in the rate at which you grow in different areas from the financials/tactical REI processes, your evolving mindset, canceling self limiting beliefs, delegation, your vision, etc.
The value of relationships is something that opens doors that you never thought imaginable and is easier than ever in today’s day and age…
It is wise to always be looking to connect with likeminded folks who are in the industry/space that you want to break into because at the end of the day, we are all in this game together. Playing the game solo can be done, but you will only get so far and reach a limit very quickly. Real estate investing is a team sport, and you never know who you will be partnering up with to create wealth together, or who has that tip that can completely change your trajectory for the better.
One tip that I highly recommend is through using BiggerPockets, Facebook, Instagram, & LinkedIn, find all of the folks (Investors, property managers, lenders, etc.) who are in the target market that you are looking to break into. Send everyone you can find a genuine direct message briefly talking about who you are, and that you are looking to break into the market for the first time, and that you would love to connect with them over a call/coffee and hear their investing story.
From what I have discovered, the really beautiful thing about the REI community is that 99.9999% of folks strive to genuinely help each other and watch each other succeed. There are many people that want to help you because they have been in your shoes themselves, and many people for you to help and provide your advice from your own experiences.
Everyone has something to give, regardless of if you are looking for your first building, or your 200th unit. Get out there and start talking to the people that will help guide you in the direction that you need to go!
Good luck and have a kickass day today!
