Central Florida continues to see low inventory for homes and rentals. Prices are still increasing, and while sales have slowed, there is still strong demand. Migration patterns tell the stories as others have mentioned. Florida is a Tropical paradise, and because of that, people are always dawn to move here or retire here. The cost of living is lower than in some places, but it is rising. There is, however, no shortage of work if you are willing to take any job. Now that many workplaces have shifted to fully remote work, people are moving here because they are not location dependent for their work. Couple that with the fact there is no state income tax, and it is no wonder that people in the NE are moving their families here. We see no signs of the migration patterns slowing, and so too, the housing market should follow.
