Tip On First rental property

Manuel Gomes
Posted

Hi Everyone! I am currently in the northern VA area about to put my first rental property on the market. I am searching for some guidance from more experienced people who have gone through this process already.

Here are a few things I have been researching on what to do with my property but I want to get some feedback on it.. please feel free to let me know if I should be thinking of something else!

Thank you,

Manuel Gomes

-Deeding my property to an LLC for liability protection

-Opening Separate account for cash flow and working directly out of that account

-Consulting a tax account to property depreciate my property on my income statements
