Cost of New Construction in SoCal

Hi, Can anybody recommend a Good Construction company building ground up new construction SFH in So Cal? Also, if anybody is currently building here, what is your cost to build per sf? I'm in LA county, Looking at ~ $1-1.2m sale price for 2800sf home when completed in a good area. Thanks.
