General Contractor Question

Christine Grippi
Posted

Question about GCs.

Have our first flip under contract which we are super excited about!

I saw that David Greene said he uses 2 GCs on his first flip in an area he hasn’t done one in before.

Do you recommend starting with 2 GCs and spitting up the work to see who you like best? If so, how do you split up the work that’s being done? Is it solely based on pricing?

How do I anticipate and handle the concerns of the GCs for not getting the entire project?

Thanks for any advice or experience you may have with this.
