About to list a multi family that is in a trust and the plan is to 1031 into a bigger property out of state. Now of course my family can go straight on our own with the proceeds into a property BUT can we also go into a partnership on an even bigger property if we decide? Lets say we identify a property worth 4 million but we are bringing 2mil (1031 funds) and a friend is bringing 2mil to partner up. Our trust and his LLC coming together to buy this property, possible? Im hoping @Dave Foster chimes in here also. Thank you guys.
