Hotel-condo purchase in Fort Lauderdale Hilton

I am looking at pursuing a 1 bedroom hotel condo in the Hilton Fort Lauderdale. All cash purchase. Does anyone have any feedback, precautionary or insights that would be helpful. It is not be a primary home, merely for investment and to stay if I need a mini break. How is your evaluation and your thoughts on the return on investment?

Thank you for review. After doing a series of additional research and analysis, I have also come to the determination that they are not good as an investment opportunity. If it is that you want a second home for a brief period of the year, without any true gain then it is something to consider. Do not look for continuous gain as between the management fees and the monthly expenses, the research is not in its favor. Another major drawback is that under the purchase agreement with the hotel, rentals under airbnb's are not permitted. This in itself will also limit your ability to truly gain from self renting.
