Bookkeeping with Property management

Artur A.
Posted

A property manager is using Buildium.

Can I use it for bookkeeping and share it with the CPA (for filing taxes).  Would you recommend doing additional bookkeeping with another software? (In case if I change PM and plan to increase my portfolio by 1-2 properties per year in another location). I don't want to have issues in the future.

Quickbooks is pricey option ($25 per month), what do you recommend using?

I am really not trying to be rude.

$25/month is too pricey? You're in real estate, $25/month is very low budget. My clients are using QBO Plus which cost 3x as much as the lowest tier. I honestly prefer other platforms which cost hundreds to thousands a month compared to QB.

If you need something free then there are plenty of software for that, but it isn't ideal.

Do a quick search on BP and you will see plenty of "cheaper" or "free" options.
