How much my home is worth after rehab and in general?

Hi Guys,

1) I'm seeing different data from different sources:

1 - Redfin (278k)

2 - Zillow (226k)

3 - Realtor (223k)

Which one is the most correct in your opinion

2) Also I've done a cosmetic rehab in one unit (put in 13k), how can I determine how much it was appraised?

Why are you wanting to know the value?  If it is because you are thinking of selling, get 2 local realtors in to give you an estimate.  They can also tell you if things need to be fixed and how much that might cost and what that might add to the sales price.

For the rehab, it is hard to say.  A $13K rehab can give you no increase on the price or it can give you a large increase.  It all depends on what was done, how well it was done and if it needed to be done in the first place.  Eg tearing out granite counters that are fine and replacing them with new ones may not give you any benefit when it comes to resale while ripping out a 1930s kitchen and replacing it with a new solid wood one will.
